Casablanca – Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny dropped his latest album “Mesh Hatkarar” on Wednesday, bringing 13 new songs to YouTube after an earlier exclusive release on Anghami.

The album brings together several collaborations with prominent names in the Arab music scene, including Amr Mostafa, Ahmed Elmalky, Karim Mohsen, and Kareem Taima.

Hosny also took part in writing and composing songs across the project.

The album’s release follows its exclusive debut on Anghami earlier in July, making the full project now available to a wider audience across platforms. And judging by the numbers, listeners were quick to show up.

Within just one day, several songs from the album surpassed 400,000 views, while others crossed the 800,000-view mark.

So far, the album’s title track, “Mesh Hatkarar,” has emerged as the standout on YouTube, with more than 833,000 views.

And honestly, this kind of response is nothing new for an artist like Hosny.

Since the beginning of his career, the Egyptian pop star has built a strong following across the region, with songs that have reached audiences well beyond Egypt and remained part of the Arab music landscape.

“Mesh Hatkarar” also follows his 2025 album “Leena Maad,” adding to a recent run of music releases that have kept Hosny active with his audience.

Music is only part of the story

But music is only one part of Hosny’s career. Alongside his work as a singer, he has maintained a successful acting career, with his films continuing to attract attention whenever they hit cinemas.

His latest film, “Restart,” was released in 2025, following “Tag” in 2023 and “Bahebak” in 2022.

Known for his lighthearted energy and comedic side, Hosny has continued to move between music and acting while maintaining his place among the region’s most recognizable pop stars.

With “Mesh Hatkarar,” Tamer Hosny is continuing that momentum, adding another album to a career that has kept him at the center of Arab pop culture for years.
