Rabat – Moroccan-Belgian kickboxer Ambar Tesoudali, has been crowned champion at the 2026 ISKA China Open & World Elite Invitational in Sanya.
Representing both Morocco and Belgium, Tesoudali competed against athletes from around the world before securing the gold medal in her category.
The victory marks another notable achievement for the young Moroccan talent on the international kickboxing circuit.
The competition presented a demanding challenge, with schedule changes, uncertain timings and long periods of waiting testing the athletes throughout the tournament.
Tesoudali nevertheless remained focused and managed to secure the win in the final.
“It was not my best fight, but I showed that I can stay focused and find a way when things become difficult,” Tesoudali said.
Despite taking the title, the 14-year-old said the performance also highlighted areas she wants to improve.
“I am very happy to bring this gold medal home, but I know I can perform better. This victory motivates me to keep improving and working harder,” she added.
The official medal ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday in Sanya, where Tesoudali will receive her ISKA China Open 2026 gold medal.
The Moroccan-Belgian athlete’s latest achievement comes as she continues to build her international record with the support of her family, coaches, training partners and sponsors.
Following a short recovery period in China, Tesoudali will return to Belgium, bringing home another international title as she continues to pursue bigger goals in kickboxing.
