Rabat – Marvel Studios has unveiled a new trailer for “Avengers: Doomsday,” offering another glimpse at the MCU’s next major crossover ahead of its December 18 theatrical release.

The two-minute trailer, introduced at Disney’s D23 fan convention by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell, puts Doctor Doom at the center of the action as Earth’s heroes prepare for a threat unlike anything they have faced before.

Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm warns the heroes about the danger posed by the ruler of Latveria, while the trailer also gives fans a closer look at Downey’s Doctor Doom costume.

The stakes rise as Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards confronts Doom among the rubble, while Chris Hemsworth’s Thor vows to make the villain pay.

When Thor attacks with Stormbreaker, Doom effortlessly stops the blow before striking back with a blast of green energy.

The trailer then raises the threat even further, with Doom commanding a group of Sentinels, the iconic machines associated with the X-Men, before declaring, “Hell answers to me, for I am Doom.”

“Avengers: Doomsday” brings together an expansive lineup of Marvel heroes, including the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and members of the Thunderbolts.

The film marks Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU following the death of Tony Stark/Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame, this time in the role of its most formidable villain.

The cast also includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Simu Liu as Shang-Chi.
