Casablanca – Yo Yo Honey Singh has teased a new Moroccan-Indian collaboration, and this time, he is joining forces with Moroccan singer Jaylann and producer Beathoven.
The Indian star shared a photo with the two Moroccan artists on social media, captioning the post, “Megribi – Hindi collaboration soon.”
While he did not reveal the title, release date, or further details about the track, the short tease was enough to get fans curious about what the three artists are cooking up.
The collaboration brings together three names with distinct places in the music scene.
Jaylann has been building her career as a Moroccan singer, while Beathoven has worked behind the scenes as a producer and artistic director. He also recently stepped further into the spotlight with his own album “Joker.”
For Honey Singh, the project also adds another chapter to his ongoing connection with Morocco. The Indian rapper previously collaborated with Moroccan singer Jamila El Badaoui on “Majnoonh,” a track that blended Indian and Moroccan musical influences.
He has also worked with Moroccan artist Abdelfattah Grini on “Teri Yaadein” and filmed the music video for his song “Habibi” in Casablanca.
His relationship with Moroccan music goes beyond studio collaborations. During a visit to Morocco in 2023, Honey Singh shared moments with Gnawa musicians and members of a Dakka Marrakchia group, giving his followers a glimpse into the country’s musical traditions.
Now, with Jaylann and Beathoven joining him, the upcoming project could bring a fresh Moroccan touch to Honey Singh’s Hindi sound.
For now, the details remain under wraps. But if the teaser is anything to go by, the wait may be worth it.
