Marrakech – Casablanca’s Villa des Arts will host the second edition of Indie Music Night tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., shining a spotlight on Morocco’s rising female voices.

Taking its title from a Kate Bush classic, the evening pays tribute to these women’s power, grace, and raw expression.

Paris-based Meknassia, @imelhalouat, performs in Morocco for the first time with her full band, while punk drummer @gaouta_ mixes new wave beats with Darija flair.

@malakslife returns with her debut EP, and @loubnatber opens the night with intimate folk ballads.

The lineup promises a mix of layered harmonies, stripped-down performances, and contrasting styles – a reflection of the diverse personalities behind each act.

Audiences can expect a night that is as emotionally stirring as it is sonically adventurous.

Tickets are MAD 50, with pre-sale details to be announced; entry is free for children.

Villa des Arts provides a unique backdrop for the evening. Located on Boulevard Brahim Roudani, this architectural gem was built in 1934 in the Art Deco style and meticulously restored to serve as a cultural hub.

Nestled in a lush garden, the villa offers a serene and elegant setting for artistic expression.

Managed by the Al Mada Foundation, Villa des Arts is dedicated to promoting contemporary Moroccan art and culture through a diverse program of exhibitions, performances, and workshops.

Whether you’re a dedicated fan of Morocco’s indie scene or looking for a night of discovery, Indie Music Night at Villa des Arts is set to deliver an unforgettable experience.
