Rabat – Remember how fun it was to play around, watch cartoons with your favorite snack, and laugh until your stomach hurt? As adults, society tells us to “act our age,” but your inner child is still there, ready to remind you that life is meant to be joyful.
Growing up, life gets serious, and responsibilities pile up so fast that we lose touch with ourselves. But life is all about balance. It’s important to carve out moments to enjoy the little things and reconnect with the joys of childhood.
Go to the amusement park
When was the last time you went to the park? As kids, we couldn’t wait for the next visit, but somewhere along the way, we stopped thinking about it.
Now’s the perfect chance to invite a friend, hop on that roller coaster, and let yourself scream at the top of your lungs. Drive a bumper car, spin on the carousel, and let your inner child take over for a while.
Watch your childhood shows
Childhood was all about cartoons. We watched Disney animations and our favorite TV channels. But who says we can’t do it now? Turn off the adulting for a while, grab your favorite snack, and enjoy the shows that once made you laugh, dream, and dive into imagination.
Enjoy the nonsense of “Tom & Jerry” and the innocence of “Sali.” Sympathize with “Rimi” and live the adventure with characters like Romeo and Alfredo. Sometimes, a little nonsense is exactly what we need to take a break from the seriousness of life.
Embrace imperfection for a moment
In adulthood, we carry the full responsibility of our studies, work, and personal life. We become obsessed with perfection, and everything should be just right. Over time, this perfectionism becomes a burden. It is in such moments that we should embrace the inner child vibe.
Try painting! Take that canvas and summon the artist in you. The goal is not to create a perfect masterpiece, but to draw or paint anything you want – random, fun, with no rules or pressure. Enjoying life by your own rules is something we should try from time to time.
Dance like nobody’s watching
Play your favorite songs and dance to the rhythm. You don’t have to be an expert, just move your body and pour your energy into the moment. You can also follow dance tutorials for popular songs if you want a little guidance, but the key is to have fun and let yourself be free.
