Rabat – Houda Saad is one of the beloved Moroccan artists, widely recognized for her career in music. And guess what? Ramadan 2026 will mark her first acting experience through “Mi Wel Bac.”

The series is reportedly built around an emotionally charged story, talking about a Moroccan woman in her sixties who decides to resume her studies and sit for the baccalaureate exam.

She abandoned her studies upon her marriage at an early age, and now faces societal pressure and judgment in pursuit of her dream.

This new project represents a turning point in Saad’s artistic journey, as she expands her path beyond music.

Known for her strong voice, Saad has built a successful musical career through numerous songs. She sings not only in Moroccan Darija but has also embraced other Arab dialects, including Egyptian and Lebanese.

Some of her songs include “Bghitou Wala Krehto,” “Ma Kontesh,” “Maghrooma Fik,” and “Tayr El Hob.”

A singer, composer, and songwriter, Saad now adds actress to her long career, marking a new step in her artistic journey.

The work includes a cast of well-known Moroccan actors, including Nadia Ait, Rawya, El Mehdi Foullane, and Hassan Foullan.

Saad follows in the footsteps of several singers who found a place for themselves in the acting world, like Ibtissam Tiskat, Sahar Seddiki and Rhany.

Many of them did not stop at their first experience and managed to balance careers in both acting and music. Whether Houda Saad will take part in future series remains to be seen.
