Rabat – Sweet niblets! Miley Cyrus is heading back to her Disney days with the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” on Disney+, officially streaming on March 24.
The special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience, hosted by Alex Cooper, known for her hit podcast “Call Her Daddy” and the upcoming Hulu reality show “Overboard for Love”.
It promises an in-depth interview with Miley, rare archival footage, and a peek at iconic sets, including the Stewart family living room and the legendary Hannah Montana closet.
Disney+ even teased the special with a short clip online, hinting at the magic to come. It shows one of Hannah’s iconic boots stepping out a limo with her rockstar soundtrack in the background.
“‘Hannah Montana’ will always be a part of who I am,” Miley said in a statement.
“What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans… this ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve stood by me for 20 years.”
Fans won’t have to wait until March 24 to get in on the fun. Starting February 19, Disney+ will roll out a non-stop “Hannah Montana” stream, featuring all four seasons of the show, “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” and “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert.”
The series has already racked up over half a billion hours streamed globally, and clearly, the Hannah Montana magic is still alive.
