Rabat – Former Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova is vacationing in Morocco, immersing herself in the country’s rich culture, food, and traditions.

She recently posted pictures on social media, capturing her joyful moments in the mesmerizing Agafay Desert, situated in southern Marrakech. 

One snapshot captured her enjoying the sunny weather of the desert. Other photos showcased the mesmerizing beauty of the Agafay Desert, with one featuring a camel against the backdrop of golden dunes.

Days ago, the tennis star shared with her followers other pictures of Morocco’s traditional doors and architecture, as well as tagine dishes.

Sharapova, no stranger to Morocco, previously shared snapshots from her visit to Marrakech in 2019, highlighting the red city’s vibrant charm. 

The renowned Moroccan photographer and designer Hassan Hajjaj shared a picture of Sharapova in a Bohemian ensemble. 

The tennis player adorned a scarf, a vibrant caftan, baggy yellow and black polka dot pants, long colorful socks, and traditional “charbil” slippers.
