Rabat – Maroc Fashion Week Marrakech 2026 concluded three standout days that reinforced its position as one of the most influential creative platforms in Africa and the Mediterranean.
MWN Lifestyle was on site throughout the three-day event, capturing exclusive moments, behind-the-scenes perspectives, and designer insights that will be revealed in upcoming coverage.
In a global landscape still dominated by fast fashion, Maroc Fashion Week sets a different tone.
The platform highlights craftsmanship, artisanal expertise, and long-term industry sustainability, placing emphasis on preserving traditional trades that remain essential to the fashion ecosystem.
Its 2026 edition further strengthened this vision by aligning creative expression with international industry standards while maintaining an ethical and culturally grounded approach to luxury.
From April 9-11, Marrakech became the stage for a curated sequence of immersive fashion experiences.
The opening night took place at the majestic Palais Mehdi, where Arab-Andalusian architecture and lush gardens framed an elegant celebration attended by designers, cultural figures, and international guests.
The setting established a refined tone for an edition focused on elevated storytelling and cross-cultural dialogue.
On April 10, the program moved to Le Meydene, a contemporary cultural venue hosting the International Day.
The runway brought together a diverse lineup of designers, including Amina Benzekri Benrahal, SHUXUAN G., Göwher Gouvernet, MOLIDA, Claude Patrick, The 6th Concept, and Gérard Darel.
The show highlighted a dynamic exchange between Moroccan craftsmanship and global design languages, moving fluidly from Asian symbolic traditions to European tailoring precision and North African artisanal mastery.
The final day was marked by a deeply emotional haute couture presentation from Sara Chraïbi.
Set within a poetic and immersive scenography, the collection “One Garden, Two Souls” drew inspiration from Jalal Al-Din Rumi’s poem “You and I,” transforming the runway into a contemplative narrative of encounter, stillness, and infinity.
Against this backdrop, Maroc Fashion Week 2026 reaffirmed its ambition: to position Marrakech not only as a cultural destination, but as a strategic capital of conscious luxury and creative innovation.
