Rabat – Inspired by her country’s rich heritage and its renowned traditional beauty rituals, Hind Sebti, born and raised in Morocco, founded her skincare brand Whind.
As an Industrial Engineer by training, Hind gathered a powerful and long experience of 20 years climbing corporate ladders and managing some of the world’s leading beauty brands like Procter & Gamble and L’Oréal.
Deeply rooted in rich Arab heritage and channeling sensuality, indulgence, and pleasure, The House Of Whind is a brand that debuted first as a science-fueled skincare brand with a focus on product performance.Â
Later on, it expanded to fragrances by launching its first collection of luxury perfumes.
“Scent has always been my most dominant sense: it is all emotion, instantly evoking, enveloping, and transporting us to something, someone, or somewhere,” Sebti told Vogue Arabia.Â
She especially highlighted the influence of her Moroccan roots in this creation, describing it as a region wrapped in dreams, fantasy, and magic.Â
The line embraces luxury Oud, citrus, amber, and rose fragrances with ingredients such as orange blossom, toasted papyrus, and tangerine peels building a satisfying and fine sensory experience.
“This is a collection that was born around pleasures: scent-kissed skin, creations that blend knowledge and culture, and olfactive intuitions that evoke, suggest, charm, and tempt.” Jerome Epinette, the perfumer behind the line stated.
Each fragrance carries a special message and a sense of nostalgia.Â
Oud Davana for instance spreads the freshly-ground scent of vibrant black pepper and smoky saffron radiating the essence of the Arab woman who’s immersed in her Moroccan upbringing.Â
Rose Saffron on the other hand channels “the mischievous and seductive Desert Rose”.
Morocco’s rich heritage remains one of the biggest inspiration sources for entrepreneurs worldwide enabling them to create timeless innovative products and beautiful stories.
