Rabat – Moroccan rapper Dizzy Dros has added a new milestone to his career, earning BAFTA recognition for his work in the video game industry.

The distinction comes as a surprise to many who primarily associate the artist with rap.

While Dizzy Dros has spent years building a reputation as one of Morocco’s most recognizable voices in music, his creative journey has quietly extended into a very different world: video game voice acting.

His work includes voicing Measurehead in the acclaimed video game “Disco Elysium,” before later taking on the role of Goat-Eyes in “Zero Parades: For Dead Spies.”

These performances have now earned him recognition on one of the industry’s most prestigious stages.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Dizzy Dros reflected on the long recording sessions and the effort invested in bringing the characters to life.

The announcement quickly drew reactions from fans, many expressing surprise at discovering this lesser-known side of the artist’s career while celebrating the achievement.

The recognition arrives shortly after the release of “HRRSS,” the fifth track from his album “Aflam.”

These two projects highlight the diversity of the artist’s career, one that continues to expand beyond a single artistic lane.

With a BAFTA recognition now added to his resume, Dizzy Dros continues to broaden the scope of his artistic journey, proving that his voice can resonate just as powerfully in virtual worlds as it does through music.
