Rabat – Moroccan comedian Mimo Lazrak will bring his latest stand-up show, “Signature,” to Casablanca’s Studio des Arts Vivants on October 14, offering audiences a personal take on family, studies, life between Morocco and France, and the realities of a connected generation.
Produced by Tendansia, “Signature” draws on Lazrak’s experiences between Casablanca and Paris, with the comedian moving between French and Darija throughout the performance.
The show combines personal storytelling with self-deprecating humor, turning everyday experiences into material that reflects the realities of a younger generation.
Born in Casablanca, Lazrak began developing his comedy career on the Parisian café-theater circuit before building a growing presence in Morocco.
He has also played a role in bringing Paris’ stand-up culture to Casablanca, including organizing shows featuring emerging French comedians.
Lazrak has since become a recurring name at the Comediablanca Festival, where he has received three standing ovations across three consecutive editions.
His performances have been noted for combining personal stories and observations of contemporary life, helping him establish himself as one of the emerging voices in the Francophone comedy scene.
Lazrak will return to Casablanca with a show centered on his own story and the experiences that have shaped his comedic voice. The performance will take place on October 14 at the Studio des Arts Vivants.
