Aziz Dadas, Morocco’s cinematic sweetheart, is known for his film Dallas, which follows Mustafa El Houari, a director in the twilight of his career, who receives a life-changing script from a powerful businessman.

Marrakech – At the 13th Oujda International Maghreb Film Festival, renowned Moroccan actor Aziz Dadas shared his love for the event and his passion for supporting Moroccan cinema.

“Oujda is my city, and this is a respected festival,” he said, expressing his eagerness to reconnect with people and watch Moroccan films he hasn’t yet had the chance to see.

Dadas, a well-loved figure in Moroccan cinema, emphasized the importance of festivals like these in growing the country’s film industry.

Dadas also shared his vision for Moroccan cinema, hoping that everyone in attendance would “fall in love with cinema” to expand the reach of local films to even broader audiences.

He believes that fostering a deep appreciation for cinema among Moroccans can amplify the visibility and appreciation of their films internationally.

For Dadas, attending festivals is not just about supporting the industry but about sharing in a collective cultural experience.

Dadas closed his remarks with gratitude for the festival organizers, including Khalid Sli and his team, applauding their efforts to make the event successful.
