Marrakech – Drake has been spreading goodwill throughout his ongoing Australian tour, but his latest gesture in Brisbane standing out for its deep generosity. 

During his first show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 24, the rapper noticed a fan holding a sign that read, “Mums Cancer Treatment,” which prompted an emotional response from the star.

“I can’t ignore this right here,” Drake said, pointing out the individual with the sign. 

“Everybody has been pointing to this man all night… This is important.” The crowd erupted in cheers as Drake continued to address the significance of the moment.

“Make some noise for anybody in this world that’s fighting any disease, but especially cancer. That’s real soldiers, real gangster,” he added, drawing attention to the strength of those people battling such a relentless illness.

The moment grew even more heartfelt when Drake made a generous offer to the fan. 

“Let me tell you something, my man,” he said. “I’m not even going to put a number on it. Whatever you need for your mother’s cancer treatment, I’ma take care of everything for you, I promise you… Anything.”

Drake’s act of kindness is just the latest in a series of charitable gestures he’s made during his Australian tour, which have helped reinforce his image as an artist committed to using his platform for good.
