Rabat – Air Arabia Maroc has announced the launch of direct flights linking Fez to Istanbul.
The new route is scheduled to have a flight every Saturday from 4:45 p.m. (local time), for an arrival set at 11:30 p.m. (local time), Air Arabia announced in a statement.
The company added that the return flight will be every Sunday at 0:20 a.m. (local time), arriving in Morocco at 3:15 a.m. (local time).
Travelers can book their direct flights between Fez and Istanbul directly on Air Arabia’s official site, or through the airline’s call center and travel agencies.
Air Arabia has indicated the introduction of a free COVID-19 insurance coverage to guarantee travelers high levels of health safety throughout the flights.
The insurance is automatically included in the passengers’ reservation, for which no additional documents are required.
Regarding travel restrictions to Turkey, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism stressed that no proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test is required for vaccinated travelers coming from Morocco.
Fully vaccinated people must have a vaccination certificate indicating that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure to Turkey.
Unvaccinated travelers must have a record of a negative COVID-19 test result taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure or an antigen test taken a maximum of 48 hours before arrival in Turkey.
Travelers must complete an entry form online a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Turkey.
Travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test randomly on arrival and may be required to quarantine for 14 days if they test positive on arrival. But the quarantine will be lifted if the PCR results at the end of the 10th day are negative.
