Marrakech – A German TikToker has shared a hilarious and heartwarming story from his recent trip to Morocco, which left his followers in stitches.
While trying to buy some avocados, the TikToker approached a local seller, who quoted him 12 DH per kilogram.
The TikToker accidentally handed the seller only 2 DH, without including the avocados in the weight.
Surprisingly, the seller, displaying the famous Moroccan hospitality, accepted the small payment without a fuss.
In the video, the TikToker couldn’t help but laugh at the misunderstanding, but he also marveled at the kindness of the vendor.
He expressed plans to return to Morocco in February, with a mission to find the seller and make things right by buying him a gift. He even asked his followers for gift recommendations, showing his gratitude for the warm interaction.
Additionally, the TikToker learned from his followers that a woman had also wanted to buy avocados for him, and he was touched by her kindness as well.
Reflecting on the experience, he remarked, “In Germany, no one would pay for you, not even for a piece of bread.”
