For Summer 2025, Vanessa Bruno answers the call of Marrakech with a collection that blends elegance and imagination.

Fez – For her Summer 2025 collection, Vanessa Bruno didn’t just look to the East, she let herself be carried away by its spell.

What began as a quiet reverie about the Orient soon crystallized into a vivid journey, both creative and personal, rooted in the heart of Marrakech.

Initially sparked by archival photographs of Yves Saint Laurent in the Red City, capturing moments of bohemian elegance in the winding Medina and intimate gatherings of artists and muses, Bruno’s vision unfolded organically.

She imagined a wardrobe that echoed this effortless glamour: safari jackets evoking liberated femininity, voluminous blouses tinted with the warm hues of the Orient, all designed for the modern nomad.

But imagination wasn’t enough. Marrakech called, and Bruno answered.

Accompanied by her brother Martin, she set foot in the city that had lived in her mind for so long.

What she found surpassed fantasy. The gentle air, the tactile poetry of textures, and the kaleidoscope of colors took hold of her design instincts.

From that moment on, the city didn’t just inspire the collection, it shaped it.

Arabesques etched into mashrabiyas informed silhouettes.

The intricately carved stucco of hidden courtyards became textile prints. The zellige mosaics, those hypnotic Moroccan tiles, gave birth to color palettes that dance between earth and jewel tones.

At the Majorelle Garden, Bruno sketched out silhouettes that marry the deco elegance of the past with her signature modern flair.

And in the Berber aesthetic, where raw earth meets ancestral craft, she found a muse in materials: raffia, linen, and everything grounded.

Bruno’s collection is not about nostalgia. It’s a tribute to the living city, a crossroads where tradition and cosmopolitan energy coexist in effortless rhythm.

Each piece in her line carries the imprint of Marrakech’s artistic alchemy: timeless, yet unmistakably now.

As a final gesture, she crafted not just garments, but a personal city guide, her own Marrakech Express.

From flea markets near Bab El Khemis to soulful lunches in the Gueliz district, Bruno shares the places and people that helped shape her experience.

It’s an ode to a city she no longer sees as a distant inspiration, but as a partner in creation.

With her Summer 2025 collection, Vanessa Bruno invites the world to discover Marrakech not as a trend, but as a living, breathing presence.

One that whispers ideas, stirs memory, and, if you’re open enough, changes the way you see beauty itself.
