Rabat – Egyptian star, Angham, made a powerful return to stage with a private concert at the Grand Egyptian Museum, putting an end to recent rumors about her health.

The event, held at one of Egypt’s most renowned venues, also marked her first major public appearance since the health rumors began.

Her appearance comes days after intense speculation spread across social media and local outlets, claiming she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had traveled abroad for treatment.

The rumors gained traction following her participation in the opening of the New Alamein Festival earlier this month, where her appearance sparked concern.

In response, Angham released an official statement denying the claims. She clarified that she would be traveling to Germany, not for cancer treatment, but for routine pancreas-related medical checkups.

Her father, renowned composer Mohamed Ali Suleiman, also stepped in to reassure fans, confirming that Angham was in good health and dismissing the reports as baseless.

Speculation originally intensified after a phone call between Angham and TV host Lamis El Hadidi, aired in early July.

During the emotional conversation, Angham tearfully addressed being dragged into controversy surrounding fellow singer Sherine’s recent performance at the Mawazine Festival.

Without disclosing her medical condition, she revealed she had been hospitalized for several days, leaving room for rumors to spiral.

The artist’s recent concert serves as a clear statement that she’s not stepping away from the spotlight anytime soon.

Just before the controversy, Angham had taken part in the New Alamein Festival’s opening ceremony, surprising audiences by inviting singer Tamer Ashour on stage for a joint performance of their hit “Loha Bahta.”

With this recent appearance, Angham silenced the whispers and reminded fans of her enduring presence and voice in the Arab music world.
