Marrakech – On September 16, pop star sensation Sabrina Carpenter got the news that many artists wait their whole lifetime for – she will be one of three main headliners at next year’s Coachella festival. This is a dream she quite literally spoke into existence the last time she stepped onto that desert stage.

In an Instagram post just hours after the news broke, Carpenter celebrated the milestone by sharing a clip from her 2024 Coachella performance, where she had told the crowd, “I’ll see you here again when I’m the headliner!” She captioned the video, “I’m a woman of my word.”

Her Coachella 2026 return feels like a full-circle moment. Carpenter’s global superstardom skyrocketed in 2024 after the release of her breakout single Espresso, which she performed live for the first time on the festival’s stage.

The song went on to fuel one of pop’s most meteoric rises. Within months, Carpenter had earned her first Billboard 200 No. 1 album with “Short n’ Sweet,” powered by the smash “Please Please Please,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100. Meanwhile, “Espress”o closed out 2025 as No. 7 on the Year-End Hot 100.

In August, she doubled down with her follow-up record “Man’s Best Friend,” which also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

At the time, Carpenter shared on Instagram, “You made Man’s Best Friend my second No. 1 album and my highest debut ever… this is completely surreal!!! I feel so lucky to be surrounded by this much love and support… seeing you connect with the album makes me feel like the happiest girl in the world.”

The former “Girl Meets World” star will now close out Coachella’s Friday nights on the main stage across both weekends, April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026.

She’ll be joined at the top of the bill by Justin Bieber (Saturday headliner) and Karol G (Sunday headliner).

As for the rest of the lineup? Expect an eclectic mix of heavy-hitters and buzzy newcomers, from The xx and The Strokes to Young Thug, Addison Rae, Somber, and dozens more.
