Marrakech – The National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), Prefecture of Marrakech, is participating in the CREMAI trade show, held from September 19-23.

As the leading reference event for professionals in hotels, restaurants, and catering (CHR), CREMAI offers a unique platform for innovation, networking, and opportunities in the hospitality sector.

According to a press release shared with MWN, INDH’s presence reflects a clear ambition: to position human development as a driver of employability, responsible entrepreneurship, and sustainable social inclusion in support of the most vulnerable populations.

Out of a portfolio of 2,700 projects, five percent  fall within the CHR sector, representing 147 initiatives led by local talents.

These projects aim to strengthen professionalization, improve service quality, and expand access to formal employment, ensuring dignity and economic autonomy for participants.

At CREMAI, INDH is hosting a dedicated stand where young people and women entrepreneurs in the fields of cuisine and catering are featured.

They are given the opportunity to share their journeys, establish new connections, and explore collaborations that can help consolidate and scale their businesses.

The stand also serves as an information hub, presenting details about INDH’s CHR portfolio and ongoing project calls targeting vulnerable communities.

Visitors can access information on eligibility and participation, with a focus on fostering inclusion through skills development and job creation.

The overarching objective remains clear: to transform the potential of youth into viable professional careers, strengthen expertise in hospitality and food services, boost local value chains through quality standards, and reinforce social cohesion through decent work and equal opportunity.
