Marrakech — Netflix has officially released the long-awaited teaser for the fifth season of Emily in Paris, along with a set of brand-new images that have heightened fan excitement ahead of its global premiere on December 18.

The upcoming season promises major shifts in Emily’s life, as the heroine leaves the romantic streets of Paris for the canals of Venice, stepping into a new chapter filled with unexpected professional and emotional challenges.

Season 5 picks up after Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) takes over management of the Grateau Roma agency, where she must navigate both her career and love life in a completely new city. 

However, things don’t go as planned, forcing Emily to face a series of life-changing decisions that threaten her relationships and her standing at work.

As the story unfolds, deep secrets begin to surface, shaking her closest relationships and pushing Emily to confront uncomfortable truths with courage, leading her toward new maturity and a more balanced outlook between heart and mind.

The teaser released by Netflix offers glimpses of Emily in Venice, taking in the city’s iconic canals, attending lavish parties, and diving into new adventures. 

Familiar faces from past seasons return, joined by several intriguing new characters.

It is created, written, and produced by Darren Star, best known for Sex and the City, alongside executive producers Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Stephen Brown, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss, and Joe Murphy.

The returning cast includes Lily Collins (Emily Cooper), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), and Michèle Laroque (Yvette), joined by newcomers Bryan Greenberg and Minnie Driver.
