Marrakech – On November 11, the gallery Inspiration Design BY, in collaboration with Artelys Maroc, unveiled “Design with Soul – Heritage and Innovation,” an exhibition that bridges Moroccan and international design through a celebration of craftsmanship, memory, and emotion.
Curated under the artistic direction of Yasmine Bennani, the exhibition is a sensory manifesto where the memory of gestures, the nobility of materials, and the power of innovation come together.
Here, design is not just a discipline but an emotion passed down from hand to hand, generation to generation.
“For me, design begins where it touches emotion, where the object engages in dialogue with gesture, time, and space,” Yasmine Bennani said in a press release shared with MWN.
At the heart of the exhibition, the renowned Italian house ACERBIS, one of the oldest names in modern Italian design, engages in a creative conversation with CIMENTO, a pioneer in sculptural contemporary materials.
Together, they explore how architecture, memory, and light intertwine. Bennani orchestrates this encounter like a symphony, turning each space into a story, a poetic immersion into the beauty of gesture and the resonance of time.
This year’s edition brings together two key figures of international design: Enrico Acerbis, grandson of ACERBIS’s founder and ambassador of the house, representing the continuity of family legacy and contemporary vision; and Gian Marco Lucchetta, Commercial Director of CIMENTO, whose work pushes the boundaries between art, architecture, and material innovation.
Their presence symbolizes the dialogue between history and avant-garde.
