Marrakech – Yves Saint Laurent museum of Marrakech (mYSLm) is entering the final stretch of one of its most celebrated showcases. Since its opening on February 1, “Yves Saint Laurent: The Hamish Bowles Collection” has drawn significant attention for its rare perspective on the legendary couturier.
The exhibition will officially close on January 6 at 6 p.m., offering visitors one last window to experience this exceptional curation.
Bringing together the expert eye of Hamish Bowles, the exhibition reframes YSL’s legacy through a deeply personal and scholarly lens.
Fifty-five remarkable pieces from Bowles’ private collection form the backbone of this retrospective, each one acting as a bridge between memory, artistry, and the enduring codes of style that shaped Saint Laurent’s global impact.
Designed by Patrick Kinmonth, the scenography elevates the collection with a theatrical and immersive narrative.
The visitor is guided through three pivotal chapters of the designer’s journey: His formative years at Dior, the founding of his own couture house, the revolutionary emergence of Saint Laurent rive gauche.
Every fabric, silhouette, inspiration, and detail operate as part of a dialogue between heritage and innovation, reinforcing the exhibition’s strategic role in preserving and transmitting fashion history.
As mYSLm prepares its upcoming season of exhibitions scheduled for January 2026, these final weeks offer a decisive moment for fashion enthusiasts, cultural observers, and industry professionals to reconnect with the couturier’s enduring influence.
