Fez — Rosalía made an unplanned appearance at the “Concert-Manifest x Palestine” benefit event held yesterday at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

Organized by the international solidarity campaign “Act X Palestine,” the concert brought together a large lineup of artists to raise awareness and funds for humanitarian and cultural projects in support of the Palestinian people.

Rosalía’s presence was not announced in advance, making her performance one of the highlights of the night. She took the stage to perform “La Perla,” a song from her most recent album “Lux,” accompanied by a group of musicians. The audience responded with loud applause and enthusiasm when she appeared, marking a memorable moment for many in the crowd.

A show of solidarity through music

The benefit concert sold out and featured a wide range of performers spanning different musical styles, including artists such as Amaia, Bad Gyal, Morad, Oques Grasses, Mushka, Lluís Llach, and Fermín Muguruza, among others. Local and international performers shared the stage in a three-hour event that blended music with messages of support and cultural resistance.

In addition to musical performances, the event included speeches and moments aimed at raising awareness of the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Organized cultural acts and collaborations helped frame the concert as both a shared artistic experience and a political statement.

During her brief appearance, Rosalía addressed the crowd in Catalan, thanking organisers and expressing her gratitude for being part of the evening’s programme.

Music and activism intersect

Events like Act X Palestine show how music and cultural expression are being used to support humanitarian needs and draw attention to global issues. Rosalía’s surprise performance added star power to a lineup that aimed to combine artistic diversity with social conscience.

The concert reinforced the idea that musicians can contribute to social and political conversations not only through their public profiles and music, but also by joining collective actions that aim to raise funds and amplify awareness for causes beyond entertainment alone.
