Casablanca – Moroccan singer Saida Charaf has released a new song to mark the holy month of Ramadan. The track, titled “Bismillah,” premiered on Saturday on her official YouTube channel.

She penned and composed the song herself, while the musical arrangement was crafted by Adel Lakhlifi. The production combines a reflective spiritual tone with modern musical elements.

The accompanying music video is fully AI-generated, unfolding through fluid transitions that move from scenes of Mecca to Morocco’s Hassan II Mosque.

The visuals highlight the spirituality of the month, featuring children dressed in traditional Moroccan attire and holding lanterns, alongside beautifully prepared ftour tables.

Moving between sacred spaces and everyday scenes, the clip captures the full Ramadan atmosphere – from moments of devotion and reflection to daily practices and deeply rooted Moroccan traditions.

This is not the first Ramadan release to adopt artificial intelligence in its visual storytelling. Just days before “Bismillah,” Moroccan singer Jannat unveiled her own Ramadan track, “Ha Kad 3ad,” also accompanied by an AI-produced video.

Following the song’s release, the comment section quickly filled with praise. One Youtube user described it as “the most beautiful Moroccan Ramadan song – in lyrics, visuals, composition, and performance.”

The release adds to Charaf’s repertoire, which includes songs such as “Amani,” “Wald Mou,” “Yel3an Abo Lhob,”  and “Dag Dag Sigani”. Her latest release “Bladi” was released one month ago.
