Lugano – Paris Fashion Week opened the final chapter of the Fall/Winter 2026 fashion season yesterday, bringing the global calendar toward its conclusion.
Hollywood and fashion icons are flooding into Paris ahead of the city’s biggest style week. Priyanka Chopra, Francois Arnaud, and Olivia Wilde touched down at the airport yesterday, making a stylish entrance to the French capital.
Other A-listers spotted heading straight to their hotels include Bella Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Victoria Beckham, proving that Paris is officially the place to be this fashion season.
Today, Paris’ historic opera house will host a truly remarkable moment in couture: 10-year-old Max Alexander stepping into the spotlight.
Amid racks of silk, structured jackets, last-minute fittings, and the usual backstage whirlwind, Max will command attention not with age, but with vision.
Nearly seven years ago, his fingers were too small to write steady letters, yet they could pleat and drape fabric over a mannequin with uncanny precision, hinting at the prodigy he has now become.
From New York’s polished opening statements and milestone anniversaries to London’s emotional tributes and Milan’s star-powered runways, this fashion season has unfolded across fashion’s most influential capitals, blending heritage, emerging voices, and defining cultural moments.
New York fashion week
New York Fashion Week set the tone for the international Fall/Winter 2026 season, which ran from February 11 to February 16.
The schedule showcased a dynamic mix of American heritage houses and forward-looking designers, reflecting the city’s role as both a commercial powerhouse and a creative testing ground.
Major runway moments included Ralph Lauren, whose collection leaned into timeless elegance through sharp tailoring, rich textures, and classic eveningwear.
The show drew a star-studded front row, including Lana Del Rey, who appeared in signature Ralph Lauren cowboy boots, underscoring the brand’s enduring cross-generational appeal.
Another noteworthy moment came from Michael Kors, which celebrated its 45th anniversary with a confident display of polished outerwear, fluid silhouettes, and glamour.
London fashion week
Following the New York installment, London Fashion Week continued the Fall/Winter 2026 season from February 19 through February 23.
Organized by the British Fashion Council, the event showcased more than 90 designers across runway shows, presentations, and special events, blending established British houses with emerging voices.
The season marked a notable 11% increase in participation compared to previous editions, signaling renewed momentum for the city’s fashion industry.
The week also featured an emotional and historic tribute to late-designer Paul Costelloe, who had laid his mark over his four decade legacy at London Fashion Week.
Costelloe’s son William Costelloe presented the brand’s first collection since Paul’s death in November 2025, honoring his legacy with structured tailoring, sculpted shoulders, sharp trouser suits, and earthy tones.
Milan fashion Week
Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026, which concluded yesterday after kicking off on February 24, was organized by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and delivered a dynamic week of runway shows across the city’s most prestigious venues.
This season was marked by bold creative statements and an unmistakably star-studded atmosphere, reaffirming Milan’s position as a cornerstone of the global fashion calendar.
One of the most talked-about moments of the week came courtesy of Kate Moss, who made a headline-grabbing return to the runway at Gucci on February 27, 2026.
The moment served as a striking nod to 1990s fashion and Moss’s own iconic runway legacy, blending nostalgia with a provocative vision for Gucci’s future.
Innovative in its approach, Bottega Veneta livestreamed its show outside Palazzo San Fedele for the first time, inviting a wider audience to experience the moment and feel part of the event beyond the front row.
Paris fashion week
Now underway, Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026 will run through March 10, featuring a packed calendar of 67 ready-to-wear shows and 31 presentations.
The week opened with the Institut Français de la Mode show, where the graduating Master of Arts students presented their final fashion design projects on the runway.
The event aims to support young designers in their fashion journey, promoting creativity, adapting to challenges and nurturing new innovative perspectives in the fashion, textile, and luxury industries.
Among the most highly anticipated moments this week, will be the reveal of Balmain’s new creative director Antonin Tron’s debut collection on March 4.
Tron took over in November last year, following Olivier Rousteing’s 14-year tenure, with the collection set to signal a new creative direction for the house.
Paris Fashion Week has also embraced fresh creative energy by welcoming new labels to the official schedule, including Litkovska and Situationist, alongside notable presentations from emerging designers. Meanwhile, Co, Eenk, and Time are making their presentation debuts.
Several established designers will also be presenting follow-up collections that build on their evolving narratives. Standout shows from Chanel, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Dior and Loewe are continuing to define the mood of the season.
