Casablanca – Moroccan chaabi star Zina Daoudia has announced the coming release of her new album, “L’Asl Fina 3ada.”
The first reveal came via a social media post featuring an animated video of a white “grand taxi” driving along a road, stopping at signs that appear to hint at the album’s themes.
Daoudia’s voice plays in the background, addressing fans and building curiosity around what’s to come.
“You will soon discover the secret and the surprises that will match your refined taste. It’s something I created from the heart, to reach yours,” she said in the video, promising an album that aims to meet her fans’ expectations, with more surprises to be revealed as the project unfolds.
In the caption, she described the upcoming project as a new phase in her career, marked by a different energy, stronger emotions, and a more ambitious artistic approach.
“This is not just an album, but a musical journey full of surprises that will unfold in every detail,” she wrote.
The start of a new phase
Yesterday, she followed up with another video announcing that Thursday will mark the release of the first track from the album.
“This is only the beginning. A musical journey full of surprises, creativity, and a lot of love. Get ready, because Thursday will be the real start of a new phase.”
The announcement quickly sparked excitement among fans, especially within the chaabi scene, as many look forward to what she has in store.
Over the years, Daoudia has established herself as a leading figure in both chaabi and raï, building a strong connection with audiences through widely recognized tracks such as “Sayidati,” “Milyar,” “Sur Scène,” and “Chedi Weldek Aliya.”
With “L’Asl Fina 3ada,” Daoudia appears to be opening a new chapter, introducing a project that builds on her established sound while exploring a more expansive artistic direction.
