Casablanca – Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin made her first-ever performance in Morocco at Jazzablanca 2026, filling the Casa Anfa stage with elegance, emotional depth, and her unmistakable voice.

Recognized for her rich vocals and deeply personal songwriting, Cardin has carved out a distinctive place in contemporary pop, blending soul, jazz, and alternative influences into a sound that is instantly recognizable.

Her concert was originally scheduled to begin at 8:45 p.m., following Hiromi’s performance on Scene 21. However, the FIFA World Cup quarterfinal between Morocco and France prompted Jazzablanca to adjust the evening’s schedule to allow festivalgoers to watch the match.

Instead, both performances started simultaneously at 7:30 p.m., leaving enough time for the audience to gather around the festival’s giant screen before kickoff at 9 p.m.

Before football took over the evening, Cardin offered festivalgoers a completely different atmosphere.

Heartfelt melodies and soulful vocals filled the air

Through heartfelt melodies and soulful vocals, she brought a moment of calm before the excitement and emotions that would follow later in the night.

Songs including “ Way Back” and “Take Me Back” resonated throughout Casa Anfa, with the audience singing along to nearly every chorus.

The connection between Cardin and the crowd felt effortless, each song drawing listeners deeper into her introspective universe.

Over the past few years, the Montréal-born artist has established herself as one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary pop, earning multiple JUNO Awards for Phoenix and 99 Nights, while continuing that momentum with the release of “Tant pis pour elle.”

Her Jazzablanca debut reflected exactly what has defined her rise: authenticity, emotional honesty, and a stage presence capable of captivating thousands with remarkable simplicity.
