Fez — Spotify has launched “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s),” a new in-app experience that lets users look back at their listening history as part of the platform’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
Released today, the feature works like a long-term version of “Spotify Wrapped,” giving listeners a personalized view of their time on the streaming platform. Users can see the first day they joined Spotify, the first song they streamed, the total number of unique songs they have played, and their most-streamed artist of all time.
A personalized music time capsule
The experience also creates an “All-Time Top Songs Playlist,” featuring each user’s 120 most-played tracks with play counts. Like “Wrapped,” the campaign includes shareable cards designed for social media, turning personal listening data into a public nostalgia moment.
Spotify said the new mobile-only feature is meant to give fans a playful look at the songs, artists, and habits that have shaped their listening history. The campaign is available to both Premium subscribers and free users through the Spotify app or on mobile through Spotify’s anniversary page.
Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd lead all-time lists
As part of its 20-year celebration, Spotify also released all-time streaming rankings across music, podcasts, and audiobooks. Taylor Swift topped the list of the most-streamed artists in Spotify history, followed by Bad Bunny, Drake, The Weeknd, and Ariana Grande.
Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti” ranked as the most-streamed album of all time, while The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” led the most-streamed songs list. Spotify also named “The Joe Rogan Experience” as its most-streamed podcast and Sarah J. Maas’ “A Court of Thorns and Roses” as its top Premium audiobook.
