Rabat – The Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports will organize the 25th editionT of the Hassan II Trophy for Traditional Equestrian Arts, known as “Tbourida”, in Rabat from June 15-21, at Dar Es Salam Equestrian Complex.
The competition will bring together the best sorbas (equestrian teams) representing different regions of Morocco, including the north, central, and southern provinces, highlighting the nationwide reach of this traditional art form.
It will feature regional qualifying rounds followed by final competitions that bring together the top-performing teams. Alongside the competitive program, visitors can expect ceremonial displays and cultural showcases dedicated to Morocco’s equestrian traditions.
Tbourida, recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, is a ceremonial equestrian performance that showcases synchronized horse riding, traditional costumes.
According to official event listings and recent announcements, the 2026 edition continues a long-standing tradition of hosting national-level competitions at Dar Es Salam, a key venue for Moroccan equestrian sports and cultural events.
