Rabat – Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly preparing for his television acting debut in a new football drama titled “Day 1s.”
Neither Ronaldo nor the production team has officially confirmed the project.
British media outlet The Sun shared that the footballer is expected to both star in the series and serve as one of its executive producers.
The show is being developed through UR•Marv Studios, the production company Ronaldo recently launched alongside British filmmaker Matthew Vaughn.
Filming is reportedly already underway in London.
The series follows football agent Stanley Dalton, a character played by Damian Lewis, with appearances from football legend Thierry Henry and British rapper Dave.
The project marks another milestone for UR•Marv Studios, which the duo introduced in 2025 as a platform for film and television productions.
At the time of its launch, Vaughn said he was looking forward to working with Ronaldo on creating films together, adding that the football star has lived through moments on the pitch that even he could not have written.
He also expressed his excitement about creating new stories together.
Ronaldo, for his part, described the partnership as an “exciting new chapter,” sharing his enthusiasm for expanding into new business ventures.
If confirmed, “Day 1s” would represent yet another direction in Ronaldo’s ever-growing career, adding acting to a resume that already stretches far beyond the world of football.
Whether or not this becomes his official acting debut, one thing seems certain: Ronaldo isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
