Rabat — Moroccan rapper Stormy will make his London debut on October 26, bringing his distinctive blend of Moroccan Arabic and French hip-hop to Scala for a one-night performance.
Born in Rabat in 1997, Stormy has become a notable voice in Morocco’s contemporary hip-hop scene. His breakthrough came with “Fratello” in 2020, a collaboration with Khtek and Tagne, followed by the joint project “Jackpot” in 2021.
His solo career took another step forward with the release of his 2024 debut album, “Iceberg.” The project debuted at No. 6 on Spotify’s Global Debut Album Chart and surpassed 10 million streams within its first 15 days, according to the event organizers.
A Moroccan sound on the London stage
Known for moving between hip-hop, afrobeat, Brazilian funk, trap and drill, Stormy has developed a sound that reflects the increasingly fluid nature of contemporary North African music.
His catalog has also reached audiences beyond Morocco, with performances in Morocco and France adding to his growing international presence
Now, his “Desperado World Tour” will bring him to London for the first time. Presented by Kaleidoscope Entertainment, the concert will take place at Scala in London from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is open to guests aged 18 and over.
For Stormy, the London date adds another international stop to a career that has increasingly connected Morocco’s hip-hop scene with audiences beyond the Moroccan borders.
