Marrakesh – As the sun set on Marrakech on Friday, the iconic Moroccan city buzzed with excitement for the second day of this year’s National Festival of Popular Arts (FNAP).
The historic city, known for its vibrant culture and rich heritage, was alive with the beats and rhythms of Morocco’s finest traditional performers.
“Rythmes et Symboles Eternels,” the theme of this year’s festival, captured the essence of this enchanting journey, celebrating the eternal rhythms and symbols that make Moroccan culture so unique.
The festival kicked off with mesmerizing performances by Lâabat T2, featuring the Aissawa de Marrakech and Ahouach Aoulouz troupes. Their intricate melodies and powerful rhythms set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Moreover, Tkitikat, showcasing the harmonious blend of Haouzi and Daqqa de Marrakech T2.
The performers’ seamless coordination and spirited performances brought the audience to their feet, filling the air with applause and joyous cheers as the crowd reveled in the captivating display of musical artistry.

The Fes Aissawa and Aouada Aït Baamrane troupes also took the stage, enchanting the audience with their soulful tunes and dynamic performances.

With more than 60 troupes paying homage to the kingdom’s popular arts and their greatest Maâlems, the event also featured performances by troupes from China, Indonesia, and Burkina Faso.
As the guest of honor, China’s participation added an extra layer of cultural exchange and mutual appreciation.
