Rabat – The Television Academy has revealed the winners in the juried categories — “Animation,” “Motion Design,” “Emerging Media Programming,” and “Costumes” — naming “Love, Death + Robots,” “Arcane,” and “Beyoncé Bowl” as top honorees.
Outstanding individual achievement in animation
Netflix swept this category with six awards across two animated powerhouses.
“Love, Death + Robots” secured four Emmys: “Character Animation” and “Character Design” for “400 Boys,” plus “Production Design” and “Storyboard” for “How Zeke Got Religion.”
Meanwhile, “Arcane” earned two awards: “Background Design” for “The Dirt Under Your Nails” and “Color” for “The Message Hidden Within the Pattern.”
Outstanding motion design
Prime Video’s “Octopus!” claimed this honor, earning recognition for its peerless visual storytelling and creative finesse. The awarded team include including Minkyung Chung, Michaela Olsen, Hayley Morris, Julie Gratz, Anthony Galante, and Sabrina Chaney.
Outstanding innovation in emerging media programming
Shibuya.Film’s “White Rabbit” stood out in this modern category, acknowledging elevated narration across interactive and immersive formats. Credits include Maciej Kuciara and Emily Yang of Shibuya.
Outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction, or reality programming
In a first for the pop icon, Beyoncé earned her first-ever Emmy for her work on “Beyoncé Bowl.” The win highlights her role in designing unforgettable costumes alongside Shiona Turini, Erica Rice, Molly Peters, Chelsea Staebell, and Timothy White.
These juried awards are determined distinctly: instead of nominations, panels of peers evaluate all submissions and award Emmys based purely on merit, meaning multiple entries can win, or none at all.
All categories will be officially recognized at the 77th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, taking place September 6 and 7 at the Peacock Theater in LA, with an edited presentation airing later on FXX.
The Primetime Emmy broadcast will follow on September 14 on CBS and Paramount+.
