Marrakech – The Pierre Bergé Auditorium of the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech (mYSLm) has unveiled an eclectic November program where cinema, fashion, and music come together in a dialogue of style and emotion.

Under the direction of Hamish Bowles, the Fashion in Film series explores how haute couture and cinema intersect, revealing the power of clothing as a narrative and visual tool.

From the elegant melancholy of Back Street to the vivid exuberance of Pedro Almodóvar’s Todo sobre mi madre, and from the visionary futurism of Metropolis to the flamboyant rock energy of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, each screening delves into how costume shapes storytelling and captures the spirit of its time.

Complementing the series, the MACAAL x mYSLm cycle explores the body as a site of power and transformation.

Through thought-provoking screenings such as Heroic Bodies, this collaboration between the Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden (MACAAL) and mYSLm turns the Ciné-Club into a space for cultural exchange and dialogue, offering audiences a chance to reflect on identity, representation, and artistic expression.

Music also takes center stage this month with two unique experiences. In partnership with the Association des Amis de la Musique de Marrakech (AAMM), mYSLm presents live transmissions from New York’s Metropolitan Opera, bringing the grandeur of world-class opera to Marrakech.

Audiences can enjoy the screening of Richard Strauss’s Arabella in an immersive and elegant setting.

Meanwhile, the Concerts de Poche by the Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc (OPM) invites music lovers to discover chamber music in an intimate, convivial atmosphere, where musicians perform in small ensembles, connecting closely with their audience.
