Fez — The Cairo-based operator confirmed an enlarged lineup of Morocco tours that reach beyond the classic imperial-city circuit to include High Atlas villages, Chefchaouen, and the Atlantic port of Essaouira.
Sample programs feature guided walks in Marrakech’s medina, artisan visits in Fez, and Sahara routes through Merzouga and the Draa Valley. The company positioned the additions as an answer to Americans’ growing appetite for small-group travel and authentic local experiences.
“Morocco continues to capture global attention as a destination where modern travelers can experience living history,” said Mariam Saleh, Communications Manager at Memphis Tours regarding the 2025 rollout. The firm highlighted storytelling, culinary traditions, and direct engagement with residents as pillars of the refreshed offer.
The move comes as Morocco posts record visitor numbers and invests in wider access. Official tallies show the country welcomed 17.4 million tourists in 2024, a new high that set the stage for further growth in 2025. Tourism authorities have promoted new routes and destination development to support the momentum.
Air connectivity from the US has improved, which helps explain the uptick in North American interest. United Airlines launched Newark–Marrakech service in October 2024, the first direct link by a US carrier to Morocco, and increased capacity for winter 2025–26. Delta Air Lines inaugurated Atlanta–Marrakech flights on October 25, creating additional one-stop options across the US network. Royal Air Maroc continues to serve US gateways from Casablanca, including New York, Washington, and Miami.
Memphis Tours said the Morocco programs emphasize partnerships with local hotels, transport providers, and cooperatives.
The company promotes stays in riads, meals that showcase regional produce, and experiences led by area specialists as ways to keep spending in communities while offering visitors a fuller cultural picture.
Tour durations range from six to twelve days with private or small-group formats and the option to customize for couples or families.
Industry watchers see Morocco as a strong fit for experience-driven travel, given its mix of affordability, safety, and depth of heritage. Regional statistics and trade reporting point to Africa as the fastest-growing tourism region in 2025, with North Africa leading the rebound and Morocco among the standouts.
