Rabat – Moroccan-rooted producer Abdelawave is entering a new phase of his career under a new name: Daibal. Now based in France, the artist has announced a full evolution of his project, signaling a decisive shift toward a more refined and international direction in electronic music.

According to his recent press release, the rebrand goes far beyond a simple name change. Daibal’s new sound leans into Organic House, Melodic House, and contemporary electronic textures, with an emphasis on deeper, more cinematic atmospheres. This “new chapter” aims to position him on the global stage while staying anchored in his Moroccan heritage.

To introduce this fresh identity, Daibal is preparing the release of his forthcoming EP, “WAVEY,” scheduled for 2026. The project will serve as the first complete statement of his revamped musical vision, blending club-ready production with storytelling and emotional depth.

As a first glimpse, Daibal has unveiled an exclusive excerpt titled “Marrakech Night.” The track can be described as a melodic, emotional journey built around atmospheric grooves and warm harmonies.
