Fez — Los Angeles prosecutors have charged Nick Reiner, 32, with murdering his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner, 78, and photographer-producer Michele Singer Reiner, 70, after the couple were found dead at their home in Brentwood on December 14.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Nick Reiner faces two counts of murder, with a special circumstance allegation of multiple murders and an allegation that he personally used a “dangerous and deadly weapon, a knife.”
The DA’s office said the case remains under investigation by the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division.

Nick Reiner made his first court appearance on December 17, but did not enter a plea. His arraignment was delayed and is now scheduled for January 7, 2026, according to multiple reports.
