Morocco’s ambassador to Mexico, Abdelfattah Lebbar, highlighted the importance of the country’s participation, emphasizing that events like these create opportunities for cultural dialogue and strengthen ties between nations.
He pointed out that book fairs allow people from different countries to meet, share ideas, and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s culture.
Under the visionary leadership of King Mohammed VI, he said, Morocco has prioritized promoting intercultural exchange and academic cooperation as key ways to bring people together.
The ambassador noted that Morocco and Mexico have developed strong relations over the years, with culture and education playing an important role in this growth.
With the Tabasco International Book fair, Morocco marks its second cultural engagement in Tabasco, following a Moroccan cultural week held in January. The event gave Mexican audiences a chance to experience Morocco’s vibrant cultural heritage.
