Rabat – Madonna was spotted this week on the set of Apple TV’s original comedy series “The Studio” in Venice.

The show, co-created by and starring Seth Rogen, follows Matt Riemek (Rogen), the new head of a struggling film studio, as he tries to revive it while chasing his cinematic ambitions.

Although her role has not been revealed, Entertainment Weekly confirmed Madonna will appear in the series.

Madonna teased her European trip on Instagram, sharing a story showing her reading a script on a glass-topped boat with the caption, “The Italian job.”

The first season of “The Studio” featured stars including Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, Catherine Han, Bryan Cranston, and the late Catherine O’Hara.

The series has won 13 Emmy Awards. While production for the second season is underway, Apple TV has not announced a release date.

Even during her acting hiatus, Madonna remained active in Hollywood.

In 2020, she announced plans for a biopic about her life, with Julia Garner initially considered to portray her.

The project was paused in 2023 as Madonna focused on her Celebration Tour, which spanned 81 shows, earned over $200 million (MAD 2 billion), and concluded with a record-breaking free concert at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach attended by 1.6 million people.

Following the tour in 2024, she hinted at returning to the biopic project.
