Fez — Casablanca is set to host the world premiere of an interactive hologram concert dedicated to the late Arab music icon Abdel Halim Hafez, with the show scheduled for April 10 at the Mohammed V Sports Complex.
The production, billed as “Halim – The Hologram Concert Experience,” is presented as the launch point of a wider international tour, with Casablanca positioned as the first stop before the show moves on to other major capitals, according to the same announcement. XtendVision Entertainment is the producer behind the project.
A concert built around interactive hologram technology
Organizers say the performance uses advanced hologram technology designed to recreate both the voice and image of Abdel Halim Hafez in a way that stays synchronized in real time with musicians on stage. The show is expected to combine a live orchestra, choreography, and large-scale visual scenography, aiming to deliver what the producers frame as the sensation of a live concert rather than a static tribute.
The concept is also marketed as an “interactive” experience, expanding beyond a standard concert format into a more immersive production that blends heritage music with contemporary stage engineering.
Revisiting an Arab music legacy on a modern stage
Abdel Halim Hafez remains one of the most influential voices of 20th-century Arabic music, with a catalog that continues to shape popular memory across generations. The Casablanca performance is presented as a journey through his best-known songs, using a modern staging approach to revisit what organizers describe as the “golden age” of Arabic music.
According to the announcement, the production is also expected to draw high-profile attendance from cultural, media, and artistic circles in Morocco and the wider Arab world, reflecting the scale of the premiere and the broader visibility attached to the tour launch.
