Casablanca – Renowned Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred is stepping into a new chapter in his career as he takes on the role of both director and performer in his upcoming music video.
On Instagram, Lamjarred shared his excitement with fans through a backstage video from the shoot, revealing that this is his first experience directing a music video.
“My first time directing my own music video… in front and behind the camera,” he wrote.
In the same post, he thanked the team behind the project, acknowledging that their contributions are what made it possible.
He specifically mentioned his friends Wadi and Nadim, stating, “Big love to my brother Wadi,your support and experience made this what it is. Nadim, the best DOP, straight outta Morocco,” before extending his appreciation to the rest of the team.
At this stage, the artist has only shared limited details about the upcoming release. The title, themes, and release date remain undisclosed. He simply described it as: “A story to be told soon.”
Following the announcement, the comment section quickly filled with supportive messages from both fans and artists.
Moroccan singer Douzi also reacted, writing playfully, “Bravo. Seems like I’ve found the director of my next music video.”
On the other hand, fans were also excited for the artist.
“So proud of you! First time and already shining in front and behind the camera,” a fan wrote.
