Former Brazilian football star Rivaldo Ferreira is among the many A-list of celebrities who have expressed their love for Morocco and the hospitality that the locals offer guests.
On Wednesday, Ferreira shared a series of pictures of him and his wife Eliza Kaminski Ferreira in Rabat, where they visited several spots – including the Hassan Tower.
“Before another commitment here in Morocco ?? taking the opportunity to get to know a little more of this beautiful city with my wife @elizarivaldo10 A very warm welcome as always!!! Moroccan people are cool,” he wrote.
The Brazilian star is not the first celebrity to express love for Morocco. Many other celebrities have shared dazzling pictures from their trips to Morocco. Some of them, including other football players, prefer to celebrate New Year’s eve and other special occasions like birthdays in the North African kingdom.
In December 2022 football player Enzo Zidane, son of French football legend Zinedine Zidane, celebrated his wedding in Marrakech.
French football star Kylian Mbappe also enjoyed his summer holiday last year in Morocco.
In 2022, Morocco recorded over 19 million tourist overnight stays and welcomed no less than 10.9 million tourists in the first 11 months of the same year.
Earlier this year, the Washington Post featured Morocco as one of the world’s top travel destinations for 2023.
