Casablanca – The 19th edition of Jazzablanca festival came to a close on a memorable note as British pop star Jessie J transformed the Casa Anfa stage into an evening that felt less like a concert and more like a heartfelt conversation with thousands of fans.

It came as no surprise that her performance drew one of the largest crowds of the festival.

Long before she stepped on stage, every corner of Casa Anfa was filled with festivalgoers waiting for one of the edition’s most anticipated artists.

Yet, the evening quickly proved to be about far more than music.

A special bond with the audience

Jessie J didn’t simply perform. She talked, laughed, reflected, and connected with the crowd.

Before nearly every song, she paused to share personal thoughts, offering messages of hope, resilience, and encouragement that resonated far beyond the music itself.

The British singer also opened up about her journey through breast cancer, speaking candidly about the challenges she faced and the people who doubted she would ever return to the stage.

Rather than defining her, she explained, the experience only strengthened her determination to keep doing what she loves.

That openness has long been one of Jessie J’s trademarks. And at Jazzablanca it transformed the performance into something deeply personal.

The audience wasn’t simply watching a concert. They were sharing a moment with the artist behind the songs.

A journey through her biggest hits

Musically, Jessie J revisited different chapters of her career, performing songs from her earliest releases alongside more recent material.

She delighted longtime fans by bringing back tracks she had not performed live in years, while also igniting the audience with favorites including “Burnin’ Up,” “Mamma Knows Best,” and “No Secrets.”

One of the night’s spontaneous highlights came when audience members requested “Flashlight.” Although it wasn’t originally part of the setlist, Jessie J happily accepted, performing an acoustic version that quickly became one of the evening’s most emotional moments.

A surprise collaboration

Another defining moment arrived when Jorja Smith, who had performed earlier that evening on the same stage, returned to join Jessie J.

Together, the two artists performed “Who You Are,” turning one of Jessie J’s most iconic songs into a moving duet that united two generations of British voices.

Jorja Smith remained on stage afterward as the pair continued with a rendition of “Ain’t Nobody,” adding another memorable collaboration to Jazzablanca’s final night.

Throughout the evening, Jessie J continued to blur the line between artist and audience. At one point, she sang Happy Birthday to a fan named Hajar, creating yet another personal memory that reflected the warmth defining the concert.

Saving ‘Price Tag’ for last

Everyone knew “Price Tag” was coming.

The audience waited for it throughout the evening, and Jessie J playfully teased them, joking that they would have to wait a little longer before hearing one of the defining songs of her career.

When the first notes finally arrived, Casa Anfa erupted.

Festivalgoers danced, sang every lyric, and celebrated together as Jazzablanca’s 19th edition came to its official close.

Jessie J’s return to Morocco, thirteen years after her debut performance at Mawazine in 2013, proved that her connection with Moroccan audiences remains as strong as ever.

More than a concert, it felt like a reunion where stories were shared, emotions laid bare, and thousands of voices came together for one final celebration before the curtain fell on Jazzablanca 2026.
