Rabat – Following her conversion to Islam, former rapper Melanie Georgiades, popularly known as Diam’s disappeared from the music industry. The ex musician recently made the decision to rent her opulent Villa in Marrakech and posted photos of the property on Instagram.
Diam’s placed opened her villa up to the real estate industry, leaving her life of music behind. She started her own architecture and interior design project called Home by Mel.

Features of the villa include a pool, a garden with a contemporary design. The rooms appear to be extremely spacious; one bedroom has access to a sizable terrace.
“The materials, the spaces, the lights, the curtains, the fabrics, are all worth mentioning. Above all, Villa M is a project that was created out of a love for exquisite design, fine craftsmanship, and beautiful pieces. The love of small, consistent details that make each space as aesthetically pleasing to live in as it is to look at,” she wrote in the captions.

The former rapper made international headlines when she converted to Islam in 2008. Additionally, she founded Hegire Voyage, an agency that arranges travel for Muslims performing the Hajj (Muslim pilgrimage).
