Rabat- The Oriental Fashion Show presented its Spring Summer 2023 collections at Milano Moda Donna, in the exclusive setting of Palazzo Turati, where two Moroccan fashion houses featured three brand-new collections.
According to a press release issued by the Oriental Fashion Show (OFS), the new collections are inspired by Moroccan and oriental cultural heritage.
Maison Calamain specializes in fine embroidery. According to OFS’ organizers, Maison Calamain debuted its first pret-a-porter line in 2020. This collection was crafted by more than 20 artisans, who aimed to capture the richness of Moroccan heritage in their works.
Designer Nadia Ksiyer’s creative vision and a deft blending of Moroccan and Andalusian culture gave birth to’’ La Maison Le monde de Nun,’’ a fashion house inspired by Moorish heritage.
According to an OFS press release, the designer ‘’wants to pay homage to a perfectly imperfect ancestral know-how and to the artisans who work with passion and traditions.’ It added that Ksiyer has chosen to bring a collection to the catwalk that reflects the authenticity and simplicity of Tangier textile production.
