Rabat – Air France on Tuesday unveiled its winter program for 2022-23, including a new route between Paris-Orly and Casablanca.
“From 30 October 2022, Air France will launch a new route between Paris-Orly and Casablanca, with one daily flight operated by Airbus A320,” the airline said in a press release.
The statement added that the new connection underscores the company’s efforts to expand its winter destinations to North Africa.
In line with this strategy, the French airline extended its summer routes Paris-Orly – Tunis, Marseille-Algiers, Toulouse-Algiers, and Toulouse-Oran for this winter season.
From November 22 to March 2023, Air France plans to serve 171 destinations, including 86 long-hauls and 85 short- and medium-hauls, with capacity levels close to those of winter 2019.
Air France launched a new long-haul connection between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Newark while resuming flights to Cape Town and Tokyo-Haneda. It also introduced four new seasonal routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Austria, Norway, and Finland.
As the French airline works on reinforcing its presence worldwide, particularly in North Africa, numerous airlines have similarly included Moroccan destinations in their winter catalog.
