Rabat- Imaan Hammam, a Dutch model of Moroccan-Egyptian descent, unveiled the Amsterdam-based football club’s new shirt that will be worn by the players during the pre-match.
Imaan Hammam is the face of a new campaign by Dutch football team Ajax for their latest pre-match collection. She posted a video of the new campaign on her Instagram account with the caption “for the love of my city and love of the game.’’
The pre- match shirt collection is the fruit of a collaboration between Adidas, Ajax, and the Daily Paper.
The pre-match collection, according to The Daily paper’s target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram post, is inspired by East African beadwork and features motifs that incorporate the colors red, black, and green in order to celebrate Amsterdam’s diverse culture and communities.
Born on October 5, 1996, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to an Egyptian father and a Moroccan mother. Imaan Hammam is one of the few Arab models who has garnered international acclaim.
She has become one of the most famous faces in the fashion industry and has previously posed for luxury brands, including Versace and Fendi in their most recent collaboration, “Fendace.”
