Throughout the week-long fair, Marrakech will become a canvas for artists ready to paint a mosaic of emotions and colors.

Fez – The 1-54 Art Fair has arrived in Marrakech, bringing with it a lineup of must-see exhibitions.

As the city transforms into a hub for contemporary art, galleries across Guéliz and beyond are unveiling new works that challenge, inspire, and reflect on pressing themes.

From personal identity to collective memory, here’s what to expect from this week’s openings.

Et/ou RE:HERITAGE – KE’CH Collective

This exhibition explores heritage in all its forms, weaving together the past and present through multidisciplinary works.

The KE’CH Collective brings a fresh perspective on Moroccan identity, reinterpreting cultural narratives through a contemporary lens.

Loft Art Gallery presents Homesick, a deeply personal exhibition examining the concept of belonging.

Through paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces, the featured artists reflect on nostalgia, displacement, and the meaning of home.

Comptoir des Mines Gallery hosts Ifergan, an exhibition highlighting the work of Mohamed Arejdal and Mohamed Kacimi.

Arejdal’s pieces revisit nomadic traditions with a modern twist, while Kacimi’s work, created between 1994 and 2003, offers a look into his travels across Africa and his search for human connection.

Concrete Bridges – La Galerie 38

Concrete Bridges brings together six artists—Ghizlane Agzenaï, Meriam Benkirane, Yacout Hamdouch, Younes Khourassani, Kendell Geers, and Mohamed Hamidi.

This exhibition explores the intersections between urban landscapes and personal histories, offering a striking commentary on contemporary life.

Nostalgia for the Present – 16 Artists from the Moroccan Diaspora

Curated by Mehdi El Largo and Farah Maakel, this exhibition gathers 16 artists from the Moroccan diaspora in a historic Marrakech space transformed into a temporary gallery.

The show delves into themes of identity, memory, and decolonial narratives through photography, video, and digital art.

Tears of Fog – Le18

Le18 presents Tears of Fog, an exhibition that blurs the line between reality and illusion. The featured works question perception and invite visitors to reflect on the fluid nature of truth and memory.

Billard – L’Blassa Art Space

For fans of digital culture and gaming aesthetics, Billard at L’Blassa Art Space is a must-see. This collective exhibition features artists raised in the world of video games, translating digital motifs into immersive installations.

Nejma Bila Hodoud – Galerie Noir sur Blanc
